Holiday Party from Mommies For Miracles Staff for Children Awaiting
Parents
Downtown United Presbyterian Church
December 19, 2005
MOMMIES FOR
MIRACLES, INC. Making the holidays a little
merrier for CHILDREN AWAITING PARENTS.
(CAP),
is a Rochester based organization that helps to
find loving families and permanent homes for
children placed in foster care.
Mommies
for Miracles, Inc., is a NFP children’s charity
who’s goal is to raise money to provide comfort
items and special times for children being cared
for by other NFP agencies/organizations.
This
holiday season the Mommies For Miracles
volunteers have chosen to celebrate this magical
time with these beautiful children in hopes of
making their Christmas that much merrier! With
the purchase of gifts for over 70 kids, an
appearance from Santa himself, entertainment
from Mike the Magician and DJ Little Richard the
hope is that these kids simply have a great time
and realize that there are others who indeed
share in their hope for a happy, healthy
tomorrow, perhaps even a miracle!
Mommies For Miracles wishes to thank Midvale
Country Club for honoring us at their 45th
annual fundraiser Fashion show in which proceeds
from that event were turned over to our group
allowing us to hold such an event for CAP!
Many
thanks also goes to their corporate sponsors
Christa Companies, Rochester clinical Research,
We’re Forms, and VJ Construction for their
continuous support and help in our efforts!

1st Annual Wine Tasting and Silent Auction
The Lodge at Woodcliff
November 4, 2005

Playground Equipment that was purchased for the Victim Resource Center's
Kids.
Our Wine Tasting / Silent Auction held in
November raised $6500. The money will be used to purchase Playground
Equipment for children given “safe haven” & counseling at The Victims
Resource Center of the Finger Lakes.
This is a facility for mothers and their
children who seek refuge because of domestic violence and abuse.
We also collected 30 boxes of gently worn
clothing for these women & children who usually leave their homes with only
the clothes on their backs.

Jill Orologio, Marilyn Fantauzzo, Michelle Fishbaugh, Alyce & Jessica
Schaller at the "Mommies" Booth
On October 2, 2004
Mommies For Miracles, Inc.
sponsored their First Annual "Crafts for a Cause" Arts & Crafts show at
the Craig Hill Elementary School in Greece. Money was raised by renting
vendor space for crafters to show and sell their wares. There were also
several generous donations of merchandise for "Goody" Baskets that were
raffled during the show.
Over 45 vendors participated in the show selling various wares. Shoppers
were able to purchase decorative baskets, mirrors, quilts, floral
arrangements, jewelry, clothing items, and so much more! It was a fun
day, and very profitable for our organization!
